SUPPORTERS AND PARTNERS
FCSS support through the years has been of vital importance to Group Group Youth in providing services to the community.
(2018) Group Group Youth has received a grant through the FCSS Discretionary Fund to build four raised garden beds-with deer proof fencing.
Funding from the Community Initiatives Program has been providing crucial support for staffing.
Funding through CFEP has been helping provide important upgrades to our building and yard.
(2019) Community Fund Grant dollars, through
President's Choice* Children's Charity
They have been most helpful in supporting our Kid's Kitchen Program. We certainly appreciate being able to purchase the fruit, veggies, dairy, and other nutritious proteins that set important examples of healthy eating. The grant also assisted in buying materials to create posters and display boards that the kids could help create, and learn from.
Paving Project: The foundation helped pave our front yard! The kids can now scooter and skateboard on a safe, smooth surface, our yard looks way better and proper sloping has prevented heavy rains from leaking into the building.
Pet Project: A group of youth members with a special interest in animals, received funding for their "Pet Project". They plan to work closely with the Pincher Creek Humane Society.
Yard Upgrade: The Lethbridge Community Foundation in parternship with the Lethbridge Auto Dealer Assocations providing funding to help with foundation repairs and yard upgrades at Group Group Youth.
Van Project: Through the Foundation, with help from Westcastle Motors in Pincher Creek, Group Group Youth was able to purchase a 15-passenger van.
Reading Empowerment: Youth member Irvin received funding for his project to help youth understand and enjoy reading fundamentals.
History's Young Helper's: Youth member Raivyn received funding under Youth in Action for her project with Vista Village.
The support of Shell Waterton Complex throughout the years is greatly appreciated. The Shell Wateron Complex helped fund special programs as well as building purchase and upgrade.
The Co-op Gas Bar donated $600 to the drop-in for programming. We appreciate their support in our projects.
Pincher Creek service clubs, businesses, various organizations and agencies continue to be very supportive. Private donations towards kids programming are a tremendous help especially during Christmas and other special occasions.
A donation of face maks from Enel helps ensure a safe reopening for the Drop-In.
The Crowsnest/Pincher Creek Landfill Association provided funding to our photography group. We were able to purchase new cameras and accessories!
"Community Safety Net™ is a revolutionary safety awareness and education initiative that creates a network of concerned individuals who want to protect children and help save lives."
Through our partnership with Community Safety Net over the past 8 years, Group Group Youth has been able to make informative, educational books/videos available to youngsters in the community.
